Community Room

The Community Room is available for hire.  At 196 square meters, it comfortably seats 120 banquet style or 180 theatre style.  The room can be divided to make a smaller welcoming space.

The following facilities are available:

• Chairs
• Audio-visual equipment
• Wifi

The Community Room can be linked for sound and video with the Ohaupo Rugby and Sports Clubrooms.

The Community Room has views over Ohaupo Memorial Park and Pirongia in the distance.  It is suitable for weddings, funerals, celebrations, meetings, small conferences, exercise classes and other community activities.

Ohaupo Rugby and Sports Clubrooms

Ohaupo Rugby and Sports Club has its home at the Clubrooms in the Ohaupo Hub. 

The Clubrooms include access to 4 changing and 2 shower rooms which are suitable for men’s and women’s teams, and the Evan Dela Rue Referees’/First Aid Room.

The main Clubrooms look out over extensive decking to the number 1 rugby field.  The 170 square metres Clubrooms share the kitchen and bar facilities with the Community Room.

Ohaupo Memorial Park

Ohaupo Memorial Park includes 3 rugby fields with lights, a tennis/netball court and some lovely garden areas.  

Parking is available through the main entrance at 17 Forkert Rd, or the lane at 13 Forkert Rd.

Walking access is available from SH23 either through its own lane or through Roly Fields Park.

Sports using Memorial Park include Ohaupo Rugby, Ohaupo Netball, Ohaupo Junior Rugby, and Ohaupo Athletics.

Ohaupo Gym

Ohapo Community Gym is an affordable gym available to the local community. Shower and bathroom facilities are available.

Current membership fees for 6 months are:

• $75 incl GST for students, Gold Card holders and playing members for the senior Ohaupo Rugby and Ohaupo Netball teams
• $110 incl GST for all others
• Immediate family of 4 or more $285 incl GST
